Amber Parcher is an international journalist just returning from a year abroad in Taiwan, where she interviewed the country's president and presidential candidates for The Washington Post, aided the Post's coverage of Japan's most recent earthquake, reported on Taiwan's soft-power initiatives for Monocle Magazine and wrote full-length travel and food articles for The Washington Post, Monocle Magazine, Taipei Times, Taiwan Business Topics and other publications and websites. She is currently looking for a reporting job in Boston.
